Unser Leistungsangebot

Festkörperlaser werden breit im Markt eingesetzt: von der Produktions- und Messtechnik über die Kommunikation- und Informationstechnologie bis hin zur Medizintechnik. Das Fraunhofer ILT konzipiert, entwickelt und konstruiert festkörperbasierte Laser mit Pulsdauern im Nano- und Pikosekundenbereich bis in den Dauerstrichbetrieb und mit Repetitionsraten von wenigen Hz bis hin zu MHz beim gepulsten Betrieb. Ob große Pulsenergien (> 100 mJ) oder Pulsspitzenleistungen (> 100 MW), hohe mittlere Leistungen (> 1 kW), spezielle Wellenlängen im Bereich 1 µm bis 3 µm, schmalbandige oder breitbandige Spektren, die am Fraunhofer ILT entwickelten Laser decken ein breites Spektrum an kundenspezifischen Anforderungen ab.

Die INNOSLAB-Technologie ermöglicht leistungsstarke und kosteneffiziente »high-gain«-Laserverstärker, die in industriellen Anwendungen – etwa in der Produktionstechnik – genutzt werden. Die Kristallzusammensetzung und -geometrie sind dabei entscheidende Faktoren. Gemeinsam mit Partnern aus Forschung und Industrie entwickelt das Fraunhofer ILT auch neuartige Kristalle, die auf direkte und effiziente Weise applikationsspezifische Wellenlängen erzeugen. Festkörperlaser kommen beispielsweise als Sendequellen in LIDAR-Systemen für die Messtechnik zum Einsatz.

Das Leistungsangebot umfasst Machbarkeitsstudien, Simulationen, die Entwicklung von kundenspezifischen Festkörperlasern, die Automatisierung von Lasersystemen und die Integration in industrielle Anwendungen sowie individuelle Beratung.
