As part of the DLRK2026 in Aachen, the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT and the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT are offering two-hour guided lab tours. The tours showcase current research and technological developments for aerospace production – ranging from laser material processing and additive manufacturing to machining and digitalization. Using laboratory setups and demonstrators, they illustrate how these research approaches are transferred into industrial applications. The guided lab tours complement the conference program, fostering a direct exchange between science and industry while presenting the latest advances in aerospace production at the Aachen location.
